Unfortunately (I forgot to tell) the client is on TD V2R6.2 so they have no access to the UDF you mentioned.

I checked again the dbc.sessioninfo view. You were talking about an Account string... I could not find a column with this name so I assume you are meaning another column where I can find this kind of information.

The only columns I could think of are the following columns (connected dbc with Teradata Administrator via ODBC for an example)

The logon source is the only column which contains somehow certain information which could represent the value. But which is the right one?

Could you please let me know which column you are talking about when you say Account string?
