Subj:   CONVERT_TABLE_HEADER

From:   Marek Frydryszak

Hi,

Is there any secret not documented way to change some parameters in table header?

I have a suspicion that answer is: YES.

When I try the query (I know it is wrong):

     alter table ucr2 multiset;

I get error : expected something like a 'CONVERT_TABLE_HEADER' keyword between the word 'ucr2' and the 'multiset' keyword.

CONVERT_TABLE_HEADER is reserved word science V2R3, and the parser (I have Teradata 6.2) knows these phrase !

So more the query:

     alter table ucr2  convert_table_header multiset;

ends with message : expected something between the 'convert_table_header' keyword and the 'multiset' keyword

so the query is "nearly correct".

In my case I want to change set to multiset, which seems to be save.

Thanks in advance,

Marek
