You can also configure a DNS server to resolve the name TDPROD01 to a list of IP addresses (in round-robin fashion) rather than a single IP, and continue to use the "do not resolve" setting on individual PCs.

     C:\Documents and Settings\anomy>nslookup
     Default Server:  dns01.ANOM.COM
     Address:  10.11.24.12

     > > TDPROD
     Server:  dns01.ANOM.COM
     Address:  10.11.24.12

     Name:    TDPROD.anom.com
     Addresses:  10.11.28.41, 10.11.28.42, 10.11.28.43, 10.11.28.44
