Good day all, I am doing a compare of a dat with the timestamp on a table. I am currently using the following SQL:

     select count(*) from ui.wagedetail
         where Cast(wdmodificationtime as date format 'YY/MM/DD' ) >= '08/10/14'

This works but I am wondering if there is a better or more efficient ay to do it.
