Subj:   Re: Modify the delimiter drop down list available in Teradata Assistant

From:   Dempsey, Mike

That is one of the characters available in the dropdown list on Export tab of Options.

(It looks like a solid vertical bar in the font used but it is the character that is usually displayed on keyboards [above the '\'] as a broken vertical bar.)

If you need to change it to a character that is NOT in the dropdown list you can only do that by changing a registry entry. (unless you are using SQL Assistant 13.0)

Note however that the next time you use the Options screen, to change something, it will revert back to a tab since it will treat it as an invalid value.

The registry key to change is:

     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NCR\Queryman

The value to be changed is:

     ExportDelim

(It should be a single character. If you enter multiple characters it will use that string, but all except the first character will also appear at the start of every line.)
