Hi Patrick,

The issue here is related to the Cognos BIBus. This service is handling the connections to the database as well for how long the connection remains to be idle before get disconnected.

The hard way would be to stop all Cognos Services (thus the BIBus) to release all connections.

I strongly recommend not to maintain these .ini files (check the header for details). Some of them causing unexpecting behavings if maintained in combination of certain Database Releases.

However based on the description of the issue here, the ini file are unlreated ayway.
