Pritam,

You can only have one PI on a table. So either a UPI or a NUPI. I think you mean a secondary index. Creating 10 NUSI will affect load times, take up more space and chances are that they may not be used. I would recommend you check the actual access frequency for these columns before you build all 10 indexes.

I would recommend collecting Stats on all NUSI's and all columns that are used in a join condition.

BTW a 1.5 Mil row tables is a fairly small for a Teradata system.
