Hi ,

Use the ODBC operator in a TPT script, in which odbic.ini file the DSN entries should be made.

I have two odbc.ini file in Linux server, one is at /usr/odbc where I can see the default entries for Teradata( which is created by the Teradata clients) , the other is at /etc/ ( which is created may be by Oracle clients) .

I have created the DSN entries in /etc/odbc.ini but, the TPT script is failing with this error.

     **** 10:31:14 Connecting to RDBMS:    'vhgtest'
     **** 10:31:14 Connecting with UserId: 'valholl'
     W_0_o_currency_dim_laod: connecting sessions
     **** 10:31:14 Error: unable to connect to data source
     **** 10:31:14 Fatal error received from ODBC driver:
                    STATE=I, CODE=0, MSG='['
     Operator(libodbcop.so) instance(1): INITIATE method failed
          with status = Fatal Error
