  For each two problem records in DBC.AccessRights the only difference is in the CreateTimestamp column. One of them contains NULL, the other contains timestamp.  


I find that we have the same issue on our production box after our 6.2 upgrade last year. Some are dupped based on CreateTimestamp others are dupped on CreateUID (or both).

One note. You query does not take into account the ALLNESSFLAG or WITHGRANT columns. It is quite possible to have two rights assigned one with ALLNESS one without, and one will grant access while the other does not.

I don't think the dup rows are causing any harm, but it would be nice to have it cleaned up.

Have you opened an incident with Teradata for this?
