Your subject line says "Notify routine". Is this a Notify routine that uses the preprocessor? That would be unusual.

Anyhow, the main routine for the Preprocessor is called ppcmain. Its use is described in the manual Preprocessor2 for Embedded SQL. See also the SQL Reference: Stored Procedures and Embedded SQL.
