Hi

I am joining 4 tables. First three table are joining on the basis of Key columns but the result of these 3 tables are stored in spool after that redistribution is going on to join with 4th table(4th table is having PI) because of this I/O count is very high.

I created a global temporary table & put the result of these 3 tables into global temp table to avoid the redistribution.

Earlier I was not storing the records into global temporary table. At that time, my query was taking very less spool but once I created, the global temporary table query was taking more spool however our I/O count was reduced.

Where Global Temp Tables are stored?

If someone shares his experience on I/O count and spool space OR Do we have any doc for this.
