  You would then need to logon to the Unix node and run the following command for each user Identified by the above SQL. Replace the XXX by the user who is holding leftover spool:

          > cnsrun -utility updatespace -commands "{update spool space for XXX;}
          > {quit}"

However,when I try this on a node:

     /nssoft/unix-soft/06.00.02.16/shadowpma/usr/ntos/bin/cnsrun -utility
     updatespace -commands "{update spool space for MYTESTUSER;} {quit}"

I get the following error:

     /nssoft/unix-soft/06.00.02.16/shadowpma/usr/ntos/bin/cnsrun: CNS
     Connection Lost.

Also, it is not successful in releasing the phantom spool.

Any suggestions? (I am still waiting for access to the Teradata knowledge articles).

Kind rgards
