I am reading thru the DB Design manual (v2r6.1) and I cannot find anything that identifies the settings for the FAT or THIN Table Headers.

Is this automatic?

e.g. If your header requirements overflow the 64K limit, then the DBMS automatically allocates a 128K header?

If not, how do I determine which version is in play. How do I force Teradata to use the Fat version.

I don�t see anything in the v2r6.1 DB design manual on this topic.

(e.g. Ch 15 DB level Capacity Planning Considerations offered some hope but I didn�t see anything )
