Glad to hear you got it working.
Just in case you are interested however the answer to your question is that switching off Async will not make Teradata queries slower (it will
in fact reduce the overhead on your cpu) but it will also lock up the application while the query is executing and therefore prevent you from
doing anything else within SQL Assistant, or from Aborting the query... so I generally recomment using Async unless it causes problems with the
ODBC driver you are using.
