Subj:   Re: List of V2R6 Features

From:   Sanchez, Idrike

We are in the process of upgrading to V2R6. I have not been able to get my hands on any documentation regarding V2R6 features or differences between V2R5 and V2R6. I don't think the Teradata documentation site has anything either. Does anyone have any such documents that they can share?.

I ended up creating my own..

On our website I put a document with the text below. We went from V2R5.1 to V2R6.2. I did not find a document that listed the differences. However on advice from one of the technical writer for Teradata I reviewed the list of SQL features summary (Appendix E of the SQL Reference fundamentals manual) comparing the V2R6.0 which includes what is available in 5.1 vs the latest 6.2 version. The SQL difference part below is what I found.

I also to our internal website two 2006 partners presentations that talked about V2R6.2 (V2r62Warehouse82_technology_2006Partners_Walter_S6_Tue_930am.pdf & V2r60DatabaseOverview_2006Partners_Charucki_S12_Tue_800am.pdf)
