Subj:   OLELoad and EOF on INPUT stream

From:   Wayne Schachtel

When using OLELoad (2.3.0.44) and specifying BTEQ as the load utility, I immediately get the following error:

     BTEQ 08.02.03.03
     -----+-----+-----+
***** WARNING: EOF on INPUT stream
***** BTEQ exiting due to EOF on stdin

However, when changing the utility to either MLoad, FLoad or TPump the OLELoad generated script runs fine. Oddly enough, if I save the OLELoad generated script that results in the above error condition, and perform command line execution of the script (bteq < oletext) it also executes cleanly.

Does anyone have an idea what would be causing the above BTEQ error?

Thanks,

Wayne Schachtel
