Subj:   Re: SQL Assistant error: unable to open history

From:   Poston, Donna

Hi Mike, Thank you for your response.

We have tried several things, but there has been no success.

Empty the .MDB file

The version of access is 2002.

We have executed the verify.exe and there are no files flagged as missing.

This has been our recent attempt. After following this process we get the following error message:

ODBC HY000: Cannot find terasso library however the file exists.

Do you have any other ideas that could help? We are going to try one more time by uninstalling sqla, odbc, teragss, tdicu and then installing.

1) Uninstall SQL Assistant

Uninstall ODBC

2) Delete all the files from c:\windows\system32

a) tdgss.dll

b) terasso.dll

c) tdprsr32.dll

d) Tdatas32.dll

e) Tdata32.dll

f) tdatas32.hlp

g) tdata.hlp

3) Delete the directory c:\Program files\NCR\ODBC Driver for Teradata, along with all the files in that directory.

4) Delete the following registry entries:

a) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NCR\ODBC Driver for Teradata (all entries under that tree).

5) Reinstall

TDICU

TERAGSS

ODBC

SQL Assistant
