I am trying to extract an ordered list of values that are present in a single column.

For example, DBC.TVFields captures the list of compressed values for a specific attribute in one attribute: CompressValueList.

If the contents of the CompressValueList are ( 16, 34, 7, 9, -23, 123, 99, -16, 42, 17), I want to pull them out as (-23, -16, 7, 9, 16, 17, 34, 42, 99, 123).

I am hoping someone has a SQL solution to this in their pocket that may be shared.

Failing that, some fresh thoughts are welcome.
