You may also be able to achieve something approximating incremental backup if you use PPI and backup specific partition(s) - available from
V2R6.0/TTU8.0. But it would be your responsibility to keep track of which partitions have been changed and build the correct command for ARC.
Neither the database nor the Open Teradata Backup partner products will do this for you.
