Not sure why TSET was not considered. May be you wish to run this in the scheduled setting. If so, script to generate show and run the show script was the best option. Show <objects> should not have take a long time.

Anyway, if you select a whole database when you export from TSET then select only DDL then you have what you want or just pick the output file with ddl extension then you have it.

As DBA, I have done this frequently before and after an upgrade or new installation of any kind.
