When trying to increase the spool space of a profile, I got the following error for my statement

     MODIFY PROFILE xxxx AS SPOOL = 62.5E9;

     Failure 7547 Target row updated by multiple source rows.

It looks Teradata was confused by the internal update process related to the Modify Profile statement.

I made a workaround by the following steps

1. Modify users to change their existing profile to null, works

2. run above Modify Profile statement, it works

3. Modify users to link them to the updated profile, works

Apparently a DBA would not prefer this kind of practice.

I am in V2R6.0.2. Anybody knows whether it is fixed in V2R6.1 or somewhere?
