Bill,

I am not sure what version of TERADATA Manager are you running at your site, but it sound like pre- 7.0 version in TTU8.0 software. On Version 7.0, you will use administer pull down menu to select database console. Once open up, there is selection of utilities on the first pull down to allow you to pick and chose the utilities. Once selected the utility will be available to you on the same window. Everything is automatic.

I remember that older version of software perform similarly. You have to pick the utility from the list of available utilities from the pull down menu in the same pull down where you pick operator console window or use UNIX version of DBW to do this type of administrative tasks.

TERADATA Manager user's guide should have all the details necessary to walk you through performing task with application within TERADATA manager software.

Hope this helps.
