We do something similar with a Crontab Unix. (if your teradata OS is MP_RAS)

Write a script to do the following.

Setup some shell scripts, logon scripts, and bteq scripts to.

Logon to BTEQ as administrator

Find session id's for blocked sessions.

Kill sessions.
