My guess is that the NCR developers have left some of their tools and intermediate results there. Happens even to surgeons sometimes,
especially when they have to work under pressure.
Based on this guess I would think that oreplace1.c should actually be the end product they had in mind because it is a result of some
translations in oreplace2.c.
