Let me ask a different set of questions: Why are you saving the tables? Are they being reviewed? What's the schedule on which they're reviewed? What happens to them once that's done?

If you can answer those questions, you'll be well on the way to solving your stated problem, as well as cleaning up whatever situation is leading you to have all these (probably useless) tables lying around. My guess is that you'll either stop renaming the tables and instead start dropping the previous day's tables at the beginning of the load job (the likeliest outcome) or start reviewing and handling the tables on a more timely basis.
