Hi, All:

When I insert one new row into TD db, if the current data block doesnot stand enough room for that new row, Here are two ways TD will act,

For one:

Expand current data block to hold that new row

For two:

Asking for new data block with enough room from free cylinder list, and copy data from old block to new block, placed the old block to the free cylinder list,

My question is at what occasion td will act in the first way, what occasion for sencond way?
