Below is the code I am running and getting an error for in QUERYMAN

     update PRODDSS_DEV.POITOUSE
     FROM PRODDSS_DEV.POITOUSE b
     set ORD_QTY = b.DLV_QTY
     WHERE PO_NBR = b.PO_NBR
     and ITM_NBR = b.ITM_NBR
     and ENTR_DT = b.ENTR_DT

I get this error

3994 : Alias name define should be used instead of POITOUSE

Two questions ,

can you do an update on the same table ?

If you can then what am I doing wrong
