For Teradata Manager 7.1 it will be called "alerts.log"

For earlier versions the files are called "*.ALS" - and you would look at the most recent one.

The files will be on the system that is running the Teradata Manager service.

I think they are usually under

     c:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\NCR\

but I think that can be changed during configuration, so you may need to search for the file(s).
