Cesar: It has been 20 yrs since I have played with JCL, but can you not do the following:

     //SYSOUT  DD  DSN=
     //        DD  DCB=LRECL....
     //        DD  SPACE=....

Normally SYSOUT goes to the printer but I believe you can redirect it.

Hope this gets you headed in the right direction.
