When you start some application using "cnssupv", the application will be started in "cnsterm". Terminal number also will displayed. For eg,

     # cnssupv
       start showlocks
       showlocks started in terminal 1
      quit

     <<< now start cnsterm >>>

     # cnsterm 1

cnssupv and cnsterm are used in unix character user interface. Equivalent in GUI are "supvr" thread in DatabaseWindow.
