  The project has a requirement for a 64-bit number as the ID for each of the tables (A 32-bit value from a Source seed and a 32-bit value from another Source seed).  


Could you store these as byte(8)? A UDF could convert the bytes to a string that appears numeric, or that shows the two source ID's separately (e.g. '12345-98765'). Just a thought....
