Many things might impact performance. Which phases are significantly faster on Test than Dev?

Initialize (Logon/DML) or Cleanup (Logoff)?

If so, are you defaulting to one session per AMP? Try same number on Dev as on Test.

What exactly is taking longer?

Acquire? Are you using the same file server? If not, try with same server. If so, check for network issues on Dev server - speed, duplex, bad switch/hub port, DNS, etc.

Apply? If so, check for DBMS issues - skewing, contention, etc.

MLoad uses neither ODBC nor OLE-DB drivers; it's a "native" CLI application.
