We had a go on this in the past:

I can understand the contributions in it which assume some limit on the number of values concatenated but the last contribution (by Dieter) did not work for me for some reason. I remember I put it on the to-do list back then and just realize it is still there. I must be doing something wrong with that SQL.

Anyway, I hope you will find suggestions in the above thread useful.
