Hi,

The following was stored procedure I created in the Teradata database

     /*ACTIVITY.FRM*/
     /*DESCRIPTION: INSERT NEW RECORD IN DAILY TRANS*/
     /*TABLES: DAILYTRANS*/
     REPLACE PROCEDURE ACT_DT_INSERT (
     IN EMPLOYEENO CHAR(6),
     IN SSN CHAR(9),
     IN LOCATION CHAR(4),
     IN ORG CHAR(8),
     IN FISCALYEAR INTEGER,
     IN PPDNO INTEGER,
     IN SHIFTNO CHAR(1),
     IN TRANSDT DATE,
     IN LEAVECD CHAR(2),
     IN PAYTYPE INTEGER,
     IN TRANSHRS INTEGER,
     IN TRANSMIN INTEGER,
     IN UNITS DECIMAL(5,2),
     IN RATE DECIMAL(5,2),
     IN TRANSAMT DECIMAL(5,2),
     IN PROJECTID CHAR(5),
     IN PROJECTPCT DECIMAL(5,2),
     IN OTCD CHAR(3),
     IN SHIFTSTART INTEGER,
     IN SHIFTLENGTH INTEGER,
     IN SCHED CHAR(1),
     IN GRADE CHAR(3),
     IN JOBCLASS CHAR(4),
     IN INCRSTEP INTEGER,
     IN ACTJOBCLASS CHAR(4),
     IN ACTSTEP INTEGER,
     IN REMARKS CHAR(30),
     IN TRANSLID CHAR(4),
     IN STATUS CHAR(1)
     )
     BEGIN
     INSERT INTO TTIME.DAILYTRANS
     (:EMPLOYEENO,:SSN,:LOCATION,:ORG,:FISCALYEAR,:PPDNO,:SHIFTNO,:TRANSDT,:LEAVE
     CD,:PAYTYPE,:TRANSHRS,:TRANSMIN,:UNITS,:RATE,:TRANSAMT,:PROJECTID,:PROJECTPC
     T,:OTCD,:SHIFTSTART,:SHIFTLENGTH,:SCHED,:GRADE,:JOBCLASS,:INCRSTEP,
     :ACTJOBCLASS,:ACTSTEP,:REMARKS,:TRANSLID,:STATUS);
     END;

If I execute the stored procedure from ASP.Net using ADO.Net I get the following error:

     Exception Details: System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: [NCR]
     Invalid precision: cbColDef value out of range

Please help me to fix this error. Thanks.

Regards
