Subj:   Re: Tpump failures - session forced off.

From:   Victor Sokovin

I have been getting the same error in my tpump scripts for the last several days and have been unable to find sufficient documentation for it. I can't find the errors in either the Tpump documentation or the Messages documentation.

  Here is the error message:

          > **** 10:27:09 UTY2804 An unexpected TDBMS failure occurs -
          > code 8055, statement 0, message follows:
          > The session had been forced off.

My Messages manual lists it under the Gateway Messages:

"08055 Session forced off by PMPC or xgtwglobal.

Explanation: The session was killed by either the PMPC or gtwglobal utilities. This error will be returned to the user when the session tries to reconnect. If the user does not try to reconnect within the timeout period set in the gateway gdo, this error will result in an 8018 error.

Generated By: Gateway

For Whom: Field Engineer

Remedy: If the frequency of the message is abnormally high, contact the Global Support Center. Otherwise, ignore this message."

Regards,

Victor
