Then, why does not MLOAD automatically drop and recreate USI before and after it executes? In many cases, MLOAD is a choice even though USIs exists in tables, and USIs are dropped and recreated manually. Of course, it will take much longer time for large tables, and it should be well documented. However, it won't hurt if there are no USI whether they have been dropped or do not exist. The server takes care of all.

This is my opinion as a DBA.
