Subj:   Warning Error: 3705 - Request executed in interpretive EVL mode

From:   Proulx, Michelle

*** Warning 3705 Request executed in interpretive EVL mode.
                   Statement# 1

     Teradata Version 3
     BTEQ 07.03.01.01
Channel Connected from a MVS mainframe
     Queryman - Version 6.0

I'm working with a view that has a union from two physical tables. The created View has 58 columns. It appears size from this View is the cause for the error. I've played with trying to recreate the error with fewer columns in the created view and I can't. All I have to do is list one column from the created view to get the warning message.

I get the error in BTEQ. I don't get the error in Queryman (SQL assistant).

My TSO is completing with a RC=0 ---- however I am using the .export report command and the warning message is ending up at the top of my report. I've tried using .errorout stderr to put the error messages somewhere else. That didn't work.

Questions:

Why I am I getting the warning message in BTEQ and not in Queryman?

How do I get the warning message out of my exported report?
