I do not see anything like this in teradata. But, you can achieve this (without fear of rollbacks) by using Multiload for delete. Even if there is restart Mload will take care of using its own logtable. Another best way, which you know, is to use

--insert select to put all rows except rows to be deleted into temp table.

--Then delete/drop Original table.

--Rename Temp table.
