Subj:   Anybody writing Embedded SQL programs for Windows

From:   Cesar

Hi all:

I'm writing my first C PreProcessor program for Windows. I've written several for UNIX though...

I have problems linking the program "batch_gen.pc" which I succesfully preprocessed:

     -------------------------------------------------------------
     cl batch_gen.c /batch_gen ppruntim.lib tdusr32.lib wincli32.lib
     Microsoft (R) 32-bit C/C++ Optimizing Compiler Version 11.00.7022 for 80x86
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corp 1984-1997. All rights reserved.

     batch_gen.c
     Microsoft (R) 32-Bit Incremental Linker Version 5.00.7022
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corp 1992-1997. All rights reserved.

     /out:batch_gen.exe
     batch_gen.obj
     ppruntim.lib
     tdusr32.lib
     wincli32.lib
ppruntim.lib : fatal error LNK1106: invalid file or disk full: cannot
     seek to 0x3fc416d5
     -------------------------------------------------------------

Since the disk is not full that leaves an invalid file...

I thought that ppruntim.lib was corrupted. But I already tried three different versions (8.00.00.04 being the last one I got from NCR support) of the PP2. ppruntim.lib is a library that comes with PP2. The TTU is 7.0.

The ppruntim.lib file is 2096 bytes long, pretty short huh ?

Anybody having problems compiling/linking PP2 C programs for Windows ?

Regards,

Cesar
