Hi

Teradata does not support declaring Local Variables in normal BTET mode

Of course you can declare local variable inside a procedure

You can over come this difficulty using OS Commands

If Teradata is installed on UNIX you can Write a UNIX shell script and invoke Bteq from your shell script

Hope you can use this sample script and convert your oracle code to Teradata
