Subj:   Monitoring Deadlocks

Hi,

We are experiencing a lot of problems on our system with Deadlocks, however, because our jobs do not fail for Deadlocks (nor do we want them to!) we have been oblivious to the issue until now! (But on investigation, it turns out it is a regular occurence on our system).

We would like to set up a job to check on a daily basis if there have been deadlocks vernight, so that we can address the root cause.

One means of doing this would be to scan our job output logs on Unix and search for deadlock', however, I'm wondering is there anywhere on Teradata that the information is written to?? (Any DBC tables or anything??)

Thanks.
