The windows will always be re-tiled if you are using the default of Tiled windows. [Shift-F4] (That is how Tiled windows are designed to work.)

If you want to avoid this you would need to either Cascade the windows [Shift-F5, or the Menu/toolbutton] or Maximize one of them. [Use the Maximize button on the window itself]

When Maximized the new answerset will also be maximized.

When Cascaded the new window will appear on top of the existing windows but the existing windows will remain at their previous size and position.
