Subj:   Do Triggers really need Perm Space????

From:   Mirjam Berger

Hello,

I found the following quote in the V2R5 database administration manual: (3-2)

'Permanent Space Allocation

Permanent space is used to store tables, indexes, stored procedures, triggers, and permanent journals.'

I just can't imagine what triggers need perm space for? I would expect them to be more like Macros or Views?

Can anyone shed some light? I can't find any other good reference in the manuals that would explain this any further...

Thanks!

Mirjam
