Subj:   Re: SQL Assistant - multiple query windows

From:   Frank C. Martinez IV

Yes, multiple query windows are STILL useful without the ability to submit multiple queries at the same time, just not as useful. Yes, I know, I can just open Queryman (uh, Hizoner SQL Assistant) a number of times, but things get cluttered quickly with multiple windows. I am commonly doing one function, but working with multiple queries. For example, I might have an explain of a query in one, a count of records in a particular part of the query in another, the syntax for the outer join I really want to do in another. So I end up opening multiple SQL Assistant versions or going through the one history to find my prior work. The guys I work with do things slightly differently, where they keep the several pieces of SQL they're working on in the same window, but highlight the parts they want and run those. So yeah, I think it would be useful!
