The manuals indicate Session Mode is one of the attributes encoded in DBC.TVM column SPObjectCodeRows. Exactly what the values mean doesn't seem to be documented, but the Release Summary for V2R5.0 has a little information for that release.

It looks like "SPObjectCodeRows / 100 mod 10" returns 1 for Teradata Mode and 2 for ANSI mode.

After some tests i found following information:

digit 1: always 0?

digit 2: always 0?

digit 3:

          1: Teradata mode
          2: ANSI mode

digit 4:

          1: no print, no spl
          2: no print, spl
          3: print, no spl
          4: print, spl

digit 5:

          1: MPRAS
          2: Windows

digit 6: always 0?

digit 7: always 0?

digit 8: SP version?

3: V2R5.1

digit 9: always 0?

digit 10:

          0: warning
          1: no warning

Dieter
