We have recently used NPARC to move 5.9TB of data under a similar situation: from 5350 to 5380 and from V2R4.1.2 to V2R5.1. We started at 6AM
and were done by 10PM with no problems at all. This process beats the alternative, a tape restore, by a mile. I am not aware that there is a
manual for it; the data transfer is done by Teradata's Operational Services personnel so in reality there is no need for a manual.
