Hi Masters,

I am new to Teradata. I need some help. We are actually collecting the statistics for a particular table and then giving Explain Plan for the query which uses that table. I dont see any changes in the Explain Plan, when compared with the Explain Plan which was taken earlier i.e before collecting the statistics.

Kindly can any one please explain what happens after collecting the statistics and why it is required.

Kindly let me know how to analyze the statistics
