Just as a quick bit of info:

NCR includes a jre in their new release of the RAID tools on the AWS, it's used to run the interface, you might be able to pull that jre out and use it on your other systems. I don't know that NCR made it's own jre, or what occurred, so I'm not sure of the licensing, but it shouldn't be a big deal.
