Subj:   Re: Where can I download a copy of TeraPerl ?

From:   Dennis Calkins

Hi,

That is true. The verion of the DBD::TERADATA perl module was put there a couple years ago by someone not associated with NCR. It has seldom been updated because the author SELLS a fully compliant version he supports with new features and Bug fixes.

You would have to contact the author directly to see if he would update the FREE version to support the encrypted Logon requirement for 5.1 systems.

As an alternative, as pointed out in the previous post, you can use the perl DBD::ODBC interface as long as you have the Teradata ODBC driver installed.
