Anil,
This is a very high level understanding. Teradata optimizer explores all the possible ways it can do a query. During this process, Spool files
are numbered in the order in which it considers all the possibilities. Finally it selects one plan which has the least cost. Due to this the
spool file numbers will not necessarily be in sequence. If I am correct, The current limit on number of spool files must be 2048.
